Preview Phase: April 4 - 17
The Preview phase is a time for a School Administrator or School Roster Approver to prepare for the Teacher Verification phase.
The School Administrator or School Roster Approver's primary objectives during the Preview phase are:
- Optionally, assign the School Roster Approver permission to other school users so they can assist with Roster Verification at your school.
- Make sure the appropriate teachers have access to Roster Verification. Click Manage Teachers' Access to open the Teacher List where you can add and remove teachers as needed.
- Make sure each teacher has the appropriate rosters. If needed, add and remove rosters for a teacher.
- If needed, you can add add and remove students on rosters.
As long as you have edit capability for the teacher's rosters, you can also specify instructional responsibility.
Optionally, you can investigate overclaimed and underclaimed students.
To accommodate situations where a School Administrator or School Roster Approver is not available, a district admin or district roster approver can take control of the school's rosters. This capability is provided for rare cases when a District Administrator is the most appropriate role to prepare for the Teacher Verification phase.
