Learning Management System (LMS)
What is an LMS?
An LMS, or Learning Management System, is a software platform designed to facilitate the management, delivery, and tracking of educational or training programs. TVAAS will use the SAS LMS to administer, document, track, report, and deliver courses or training programs.
How do I create my LMS account?
- Go to the SAS Training website: https://learn.sas.com
- Click on the blue profile circle in the top right corner of the page
- Click the Create profile button
- Enter the required information
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email (This must be your work email.)
- Country/Region
- Affiliation with SAS
- Organization/University
- Agree to the terms of use and conditions
- Review the SAS Terms of Use and Privacy Statement
- Check the box to agree to the terms of use and conditions
- Click the Create profile button
- Open your email and click on the link "Activate your SAS Profile"
- Set your new password
- Click the Set Password button
- Once your profile is active, click Continue and sign in using your SAS profile
How do I create my account for a course in the SAS LMS?
Do you already have a SAS profile created?
If yes, click on the Activation Link at the bottom of the page for the course and sign in using your SAS profile information.
If no, follow these steps:
- Click the Activation Link at the bottom of the page
- Click the Create profile button
- Enter required information
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email (This must be your work email.)
- Country/Region
- Affiliation with SAS
- Organization/University
- Agree to the terms of use and conditions
- Review the SAS Terms of Use and Privacy Statement
- Check the box to agree to the terms of use and conditions
- Click the Create profile button
- Open your email and click on the link "Activate your SAS Profile"
- Set your new password
- Click the Set Password button
- Once your profile is active, return to your Activation Link and sign in using your SAS profile
- Check the box and hit Submit to accept the license agreement
- Save the Course Link for future access
- Bookmark the course page or save the course link to easily return to it later
